Whoa. Just "fixed" my phone's charging connector by cleaning it with a wooden toothpick. The amount of dust that was in there is insane... Plus it works as new now!

Every change I make in Koko Analytics because users ask for it has other users asking me to revert it. Who knew analytics dashboard were so subjective. 😂

- Multiple bars vs stacked/inner bar
- Colors

Even got a 3-star review because ”the new colors look... unprofessional.”

What's your favorite Mastodon client for iOS?

Currently using Amaroq but some toots with links aren't showing as links and follow functionality is broken.

2 people are currently working on an #opensource federated #reddit alternative, called #lemmy.
They need some open source #developers to help them enable the federating function.. #activitypub

I've refused to upgrade my main Wordpress blog to "Jetpack stats", so I've been stuck on the old "Wordpress stats" plugin for years. Today I learned about from @danny and it looks really cool. Trying it out!

Just released Koko Analytics v1.0.7 🚀

- Reverted bar chart change 📊
- Showing # of pageviews in the last hour
- Automatically aggregating certain referrer URL's
- Using WP admin color scheme
- Color contrast WCAAG AA+
- Improved chart labels

All I ask in return is that if you are using Koko Analytics and enjoying it, please contribute by either writing about the plugin on your blog or by leaving a plugin review here:

Thank you. 🙏❤️

If I showed up late for a meeting over the past 3 years, I'm sorry. I just discovered Arch doesn't come with NTP pre-installed, so my clocks were off by a minute per year.

Good thing I never have meetings anyway! 🥳

Building my own static site generator for fun and contemplating forcing myself to do it without dependencies. Would mean writing my own Markdown parser and templating language, for which I have no clue how to do it yet. That means learning opportunity, right? Any good pointers?

This is what I use to listen to music every single day, it's light, resistant, repairable, standard, carries 64GB of music and will play music for nearly 100 hours.

I paid 16$ for it.

There will be two matches per day, and in two weeks time we'll have a winner!

Discussions are encouraged, but please, keep it civil and peaceful. It's just a fun game.

Added support for dark mode to my personal site & made main content stand out a bit more. Still less 650 bytes of CSS.

Reposting a comment I made on HN regarding the proposed EU ban on facial recognition technology:

>I love coming to these threads to watch the crowd who makes their living from invading the public's privacy attempt to rationalize their worldview, find loopholes, etc. If your job is mass surviellance, it has always been unethical and the law is catching up to you. The purpose of these kinds of laws isn't to bring your business in line - it's to put you out of business.

No to Chrome – #Google wants to automate us

There is a simple first step that every internet user can take to make things a little better. Seek out a better web browser to replace Google Chrome and tell everyone to do the same.
